Modeling and Stability Analysis of Closed Loop Current-Mode Controlled Ćuk Converter using Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Approach

چکیده
The current-mode controlled Ćuk converter, being a fourth-order nonlinear nonsmooth system, does not lend itself to any simple analysis and the complexity lies mainly in the modeling of the circuit to capture all the essential nonlinearities that occur in fast time scale. This paper, for the first time, extends the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy modeling approach to capture fast time-scale nonlinearities in the converter like border-collision bifurcation and chaos. Then, non-smooth Lyapunov theory is employed to study the stability and actually pinpoint the operating point at which the converter loses its stable period-1 operation to bifurcation.

Stability Analysis of DC-DC Buck Converter using Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Model-based Approach
This paper develops a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy approach for modeling a DC-DC voltage-mode controlled buck converter as a nonlinear, nonsmooth system to capture all the essential fast-scale nonlinearities that occur at controller clock frequency. A tractable mathematical stability analysis, employing nonsmooth Lyapunov functions, is proposed for identifying converter fast-scale instabilities and the ...
متن کاملVoltage Regulation of DC-DC Series Resonant Converter Operating in Discontinuous Conduction Mode: The Hybrid Control Approach
Dynamic modeling and control of dc-dc series resonant converter (SRC) especially when operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) is still a challenge in power electronics. Due to semiconductors switching, SRC is naturally represented as a switched linear system, a class of hybrid systems. Nevertheless, the hybrid nature of the SRC is commonly neglected and it is modeled as a purely contin...

متن کاملA New High-order Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Model Based on Deformed Linear Models
Amongst possible choices for identifying complicated processes for prediction, simulation, and approximation applications, high-order Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy models are fitting tools. Although they can construct models with rather high complexity, they are not as interpretable as first-order TS fuzzy models. In this paper, we first propose to use Deformed Linear Models (DLMs) in consequence pa...
متن کاملDesign of nonlinear parity approach to fault detection and identification based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model and unknown input observer in nonlinear systems
In this study, a novel fault detection scheme is developed for a class of nonlinear system in the presence of sensor noise. A nonlinear Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is implemented to create multiple models. While the T-S fuzzy model is used for only the nonlinear distribution matrix of the fault and measurement signals, a larger category of nonlinear systems is considered. Next, a mapping to decou...
